SEM products meet or exceed regional industry requirements for quality and reliability.About The Position:For SEM team, part of the Customer Solutions Growth Regions Division division at Caterpillar, we are looking for a Distribution Consultant. This exciting opportunity is a part of Caterpillar growth strategy for EAME markets. In this role, you will identify key opportunities to research, develop, implement, and continuously improve the distribution and dealer coverage for the SEM brand. Our goal is to maximize growth and customer reach through a distribution channel dedicated to SEM.What You Will Do:Review and run assessments on dealer coverage and representation at the country level; identify and highlight gaps based on market opportunity / performance.Implement or expand dealer coverage where needed through dealer expansion, onboarding new distributors, and managing the process with partners (legal, compliance, etc.).Ensure clear distinction between Cat and SEM businesses in branding, sales and service teams, and overall market positioning.Apply process improvement tools and assist with implementing efficient and competitive distribution solutions that support dealer profitability and cash-to-cash cycles.Promote a strong safety culture and drive a zero-incident mindset across all distribution activities.Key Skills For Your Successful Assignment:Influencing & Partnering: Build strong relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders; influence decisions to optimize coverage strategiesEffective Communication: Communicate clearly with internal teams and dealers; deliver actionable feedback and maintain transparency.Business Process Improvement: Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement more efficient approaches to dealer coverage and distribution processes.Thinking Differently: Find new ways to reach customers through our current business partners and find new business partners to expand with.Problem Solving: Apply structured approaches to resolve coverage gaps and operational challenges.Planning & Organizing: Develop systematic plans for dealer expansion and coverage improvement. Strong project Management skills required.Top Candidates Will Also Have:Degree or equivalent experience preferred.Extensive experience in distribution strategy, dealer network development, and process improvement.Knowledge of supply chain principles and ability to integrate coverage strategies with operational efficiency.Fluency in English and Russian/Kazakh, knowledge of Arabic/French will be considered as advantage.Additional Information:This is an onsite role, 5 days a weekBusiness travel time - up to 50%.Mission
