This is your perfect opportunity to join us and contribute to our mission of engineering the extraordinary.As a Field Development Specialist, you will be an individual contributor with direct sales responsibilities. Your primary focus will be on establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, developing new accounts, implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth across Cranial and Spinal Technologies & Ear Nose Throat & Neurosurgery. For this position, you can be based in Astana or Almaty.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
  • Promote and sell Medtronic products to new and existing accounts to achieve sales objectives and market penetration.
  • Support partners and clients throughout the sales process, including marketing, training, and promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributors and healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Provide technical support to physicians according to therapy requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, proposing strategies to enhance product adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with adverse event reporting procedures.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in medical devices or healthcare sales.
  • Proven track record in consultative selling and account development.
  • Digital proficiency: Ability to leverage CRM systems, data analytics tools, and virtual engagement platforms.
  • Understanding of value-based healthcare and ability to articulate economic and clinical benefits to stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen: Experience in market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-changing healthcare environment.
  • Collaboration skills: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, and supply chain teams.
  • Compliance mindset: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in healthcare.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written); additional language skills are a plus.
