Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for Lead Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.Responsibilities:
  • Manage a Team of Engineering and Designers to execute the Scope of Work
  • Ensure compliance with all Local and International Standards and adherence to Company Specific Standards
  • Responsible for the Integrity of the Deliverables and Ensure all comply with Originating, checking and approving procedures
  • Focal Point for 3D Model Review(s) and the timely closing of all comments
  • Developing CTR’s and identifying and flagging any changes with Engineering/Project Managers
  • Inputs to the Schedules and ensuring that work is executed in the agreed timeframe
  • Manpower Planning through all phases of the Projects
  • Final Sign off on all deliverables for the discipline
  • Closure of any Technical and Site Related Queries
  • Liaison with Client Lead Discipline Engineer
  • Liaison with overseas Engineering Office
Skills / Qualifications:
  • Technical Degree (Bsc) or Higher in their Chosen Discipline
  • Experience of working as a Lead in their discipline for no less that 5 Years
  • Experience in power system studies
  • Experience in project execution processes
  • Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
  • Professional level of knowledge of applicable RoK codes and standards
