IT DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

• To ensure the security, integrity and consistency of the KPO data;
• To support to the all sections of IT Business Systems Department staff to update and maintain the database environments;
• Provide assistance to the application team for the usage of database environments, products and tools;
• Assist the application team in designing the database structures and delivering new systems;
• Provide daily administration tasks to guarantee the availability of the KPO data to the users department;
• Implement the solution designed by the IT Systems Architect;
• Perform database software maintenance and carry out activities such as installation, upgrade, migration and patching;
• Control and monitor the access to the database, maintain the system security and ensure that high level of security is applied;
• Implement and maintain the backup and recovery procedure;
• Produce documentation according to IT&T change control requirements and IT&T procedures;
• Ensuring compliance with the contracts licenses agreement;
• Perform other instructions of management / line manager / direct superior within its competence.

• General knowledge of PCs and Windows operating environments;
• Entry level knowledge of networking systems and security;
• Knowledge of administration of Oracle and SQL databases and related administration tools;
• Knowledge of relational database design and implementation;
• Effective English communication skills (verbal and written);
• Should be able to communicate effectively with various operational units within venture;
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently;
• Administration MS SQL or Oracle databases and relative tools;
• Relational databases design and physical implementation;
• Application support, problem determination, performance issues, security administration, trouble shooting.
