As we’ve delivered on this mission over the last 40 years, we have become the market leader in global telehealth services and digital health solutions for an extensive client base of Fortune 500 companies, NGO’s and governments around the world.Overall Purpose of the JobReporting to the General Director, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for:Developing and implementing the Central Asia strategy and managing key accounts across all industry verticals.Building new account relationships, identifying prospective business opportunities, and securing new contracts across Kazakhstan.Seeking, tracking, maintaining, and forecasting major upcoming projects with a short-term (quarterly) and long-term (3–5 year) perspective, aiming to diversify the business beyond the oil & gas sector.Continuing focus on Government Services, including Global Health and MedSupply initiatives.Providing general sales team support and development, preparing timely MBRs (Monthly Business Reviews) and Outlook reports, and conducting regular pipeline reviews.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure prospective clients to achieve new business acquisition targets.Acquire in-depth understanding of key industry segments: mining, construction, and infrastructure.Understand customer needs, requirements, and market trends; identify decision-makers and develop contacts at the highest appropriate levels within target clients and prospects.Grow and manage a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM system (Salesforce.com) and report on business development and new opportunities as requested.Ensure professional representation of International SOS at client and industry-specific events and maximize networking opportunities.Coordinate internal stakeholders and contribute to the preparation of technically accurate RFP proposals.General ResponsibilitiesBalance the long-term strategy of key opportunities with the current business requirements.Continually evaluate progress within the market segment against sales pipeline objectives, revenue and profit targets, and client account plans.Ensure all client proposals, tender documents, and communications meet professional standards in line with company policies and pricing procedures.Meet and exceed established sales targets.Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of achievement
  • Minimum 3-5 years B2B sales experience; selling to a related field (energy, mining, infrastructure)
  • Educated to University level
  • Fluent Russian & English speaking is essential.
Desirable Criteria
  • Prior consultative sales experience with senior management
  • Kazakh speaking is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience working in the private healthcare sector
  • Familiarity with the mining sector in Kazakhstan including networks/key contact would be advantageous
Required Behavioural SkillsThe successful incumbent will be a seasoned closer, negotiator and strategic thinker with experience engaging with various stakeholders at the corporate and field level. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are necessary for success. Strong communication skills (presenting and listening) are also required.Work LocationAlmaty.
