Our platform enables clients to access trading capabilities, real-time and historical market data, and static information through HTTP/REST and FIX interfaces. These APIs are relied upon by institutional and retail clients, including trading firms, brokers and enterprise partners and must meet stringent performance, reliability and protocol standards.The team owns the end-to-end lifecycle of client-facing trading APIs, including requirements analysis, API design and specification, protocol versioning, documentation, and delivery of integration libraries. The scope includes order management, execution reporting, market data streaming, authentication, rate limiting and monitoring. Collaboration with backend services, market data systems and trading engines is central to ensuring API consistency, backward compatibility and stability under significant load.Reporting Line - Backend DirectorWorksite: RemoteResponsibilitiesOwn the full product lifecycle for client-facing trading APIs.Define product roadmap, requirements, technical specifications and success criteria.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent API behavior and high performance across FIX, WebSocket, and HTTP interfacesMaintain API documentation, protocol guidelines and versioning standards.Work closely with backend, trading engines and market data systems to ensure:Low-latency and reliable execution,API stability under high load,Backward compatibility and smooth client onboarding.Support integration with client systems, liquidity providers, and trading partners.Ensure adherence to compliance, trading workflows, and best execution requirements.Monitor performance, usage, reliability to guide continuous improvement.Communicate updates, roadmap status, and technical details to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in fintech or trading platforms.
Extensive experience with trading APIs:
