We design and develop proprietary identity verification products that empower businesses and individuals alike.About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual/Functional QA Engineer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for planning and executing manual tests for both web applications and REST APIs, helping to ensure the stability, usability, and overall quality of our products. This role requires a solid understanding of software QA methodologies, functional testing, and defect tracking.Key Responsibilities:

Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to develop effective test plans and test cases.
Execute manual functional, regression, exploratory, and usability tests for web applications and REST APIs.
Test REST APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
Identify, document, and track defects in collaboration with developers and product teams.
Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing and regression testing.
Ensure thorough coverage of test scenarios, including edge cases and failure paths.
Contribute to QA documentation, including test plans, checklists, and release notes.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in manual/functional testing of web applications and APIs.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSql or basic database querying.
Exposure to test automation tools or an interest in learning automation.
