How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically-focused Senior Mechanical Engineer to assume a critical leadership role in optimizing our maintenance and reliability operations across multiple industrial sites. This position requires a proven leader capable of driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and maximizing equipment uptime across a significant operational footprint.Key Responsibilities and ImpactThe successful candidate will be accountable for the strategic direction and execution of maintenance activities across five or more plants, leading a substantial technical team to achieve best-in-class operational performance.Maintenance Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and continuously refine proactive maintenance strategies designed to optimize equipment reliability, minimize unscheduled downtime, and achieve significant reductions in long-term maintenance expenditure.Team Leadership & Development: Provide decisive leadership, management, and mentorship to a team of 10+ maintenance technicians. This includes task delegation, setting performance priorities, resource allocation, and ensuring continuous professional development to maintain a high-performing team.Safety & Compliance Oversight: Ensure rigorous adherence to all governmental safety regulations, internal protocols, and industry best practices. Establish and enforce a proactive safety culture to maintain a zero-incident work environment.Financial & Resource Management: Manage the maintenance operational budget, overseeing the efficient utilization of materials, capital, and personnel to meet established maintenance goals and financial targets.Performance Analysis & Improvement: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintenance metrics.
