SAFETY SPECIALIST

• Provide specialist support in delivering high quality Safety and Environment (S&E) data analysis and reporting, ensure the tasks are completed in timely manner.
• Participate in development and implementation of S&E data analysis and reporting process. Contribute in identification, development and implementation of new opportunities to optimise and automate the data analysis and reporting process in KPO.
• Provide specialist support in implementation of KPO S&E data management and reporting systems. Contribute to development of KPIs and plans and monitor performance against KPIs and plans of actions.
• Participate in safety inspections, audits, reviews of the workplace to identify potential hazards and risks using various tools and techniques, such as checklists and risk assessments, to evaluate the safety of the workplace.
• Contribute in development and implemention of safety policies and procedures to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries. Ensure that these policies and procedures comply with international best practice, relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide specialist support in delivering awareness sessions and coaching to employees to help them identify and avoid hazards, implement safety management system.
• Provide specialist support in incident investigations to identify the causes and develop recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
• Provide specialist support and participate in monitoring the workplaces to support organisation in ensuring that safety policies and procedures are being followed. Participate in regular safety reviews to assess the effectiveness of the safety management system and improvement programs.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractor companies to ensure that issues related to data management are addressed and resolved.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest safety standards, regulations and guidelines to ensure that the workplace remains in compliance with relevant standards, laws and regulations.
• Provide specialist support in implementation of improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of departmental processes and activities and participate in their implementation.
• Assist in adoption of best practice on what makes an effective data analysis and reporting, including digitalisation opportunities, this may include taking examples from other companies (also outside oil and gas sector).
• Provide specialist support and guidance to all KPO personnel in the issues related to S&E data analysis and reporting.
• Provide specialist support in implementation of data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Synergi).
• Actively participate in promoting safety culture amongst the staff and contractor partners.
• Interact with all KPO and contractor companies personnel in order to promote awareness of KPO policies, standards and procedures.
• Provide specialist support in assurance of data and ensure timely delivery of required reports to management and other stakeholders, as necessary.
• Perform tasks assigned by line manager that necessary to ensure delivery of safety programs and meeting Goal Zero objective of the company.

• Intermediate (B1) English level is an advantage on this role;
• working knowledge of HSE topics / vocabulary;

• labour code / law on civil protection of the RoK;
• safety rules and regulation;
