- Prepare and manage business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts for the Forwarding Logistics Department.
- Analyze logistics costs, margins, and profitability by routes, customers, and services.
- Monitor and control purchase prices for forwarding services (freight, handling, customs, and related logistics costs).
- Conduct variance analysis between planned and actual costs, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
- Support pricing decisions by providing cost calculations and profitability assessments.
- Develop and maintain cost models for different logistics scenarios and business cases.
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure cost transparency and alignment.
- Prepare regular management reports and ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement within logistics operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business planning, cost analysis, controlling, or financial analysis, preferably in logistics or forwarding.
- Strong understanding of logistics cost structures and pricing principles.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work with large data sets and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.
