You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals.You'll play a vital role in designing, researching, and prototyping solutions to meet customer needs, ultimately contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams such as production and suppliers, validate specifications with design authorities, and much more.You’ll specifically take care of developing and testing prototypes, as well as maintaining engineering records and designs, but also identifying solutions to improve product and production efficiency.We’ll look to you for:Researching, designing, or analyzing both new and existing products using available tools and dataProviding detailed specifications and analysis for proposed solutions, including time and scope considerationsValidating specifications with suppliers and design authoritiesDeveloping and building prototypes, and running tests to measure functionalityIdentifying and implementing solutions to improve product and production efficiencyMaintaining and monitoring engineering activities in project plans, schedules, and progress trackersPreparing reports, charts, and other documentation for engineering records and projectsCollaborating with the production department and suppliers during manufacturing, providing guidance on design specificationsCalculating cost estimates for final product designsParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing engineering-specific policies and proceduresAssisting in training personnel when requiredFostering healthy inter-departmental relationships and maintaining professional communication with internal and external stakeholdersPerforming other related duties as assigned by the Engineering ManagerAll about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
