- Co-create, with the Affiliate Enabling Team, the affiliate’s near- and long-term strategic direction and translate it into clear outcomes, priorities and execution plans.
- Lead integrated portfolio planning across the three Disease Areas to ensure coherence, focus, and disciplined delivery.
- Ensure responsible resource and budget stewardship, enabling the highest-impact opportunities and sustainable execution.
- Establish and maintain fit-for-purpose governance, planning routines and performance reviews to drive execution quality.
- Provide strategic direction and enable execution across the affiliate’s three Disease Areas (end-to-end: strategy, customer engagement approach, and delivery through squads/teams).
- Ensure disease area strategies are insight-led and differentiated, with clear choices on priorities, target segments and value communication.
- Drive alignment across Disease Areas on shared capabilities, ways of working, and cross-portfolio opportunities.
- Strengthen customer engagement by streamlining touchpoints and improving end-to-end experience for key audiences (HCPs, payers, patients, partners).
- Lead the affiliate’s digital/omnichannel strategy and execution, ensuring coordinated, measurable, customer-relevant content and initiatives.
- Drive data- and insights-led decision making by leading analysis of trends, customer insights, and performance indicators that inform priorities and improve effectiveness.
- Lead and coordinate participation in national and regional healthcare programs/projects aligned with public health priorities and Roche’s commitments.
- Build trusted partnerships and engage with key stakeholders (health authorities, payers/funds, NGOs, partners) on strategic and project-related topics.
- Lead, develop and empower leaders and teams across the three Disease Areas and Digital/Omnichannel capability.
- Act as an agile leader (VACC): set direction (Visionary), shape fit-for-purpose structures and routines (Architect), unlock energy and momentum (Catalyst), and develop people and capabilities (Coach).
- Create an environment of trust, accountability and collaboration across squads/chapters/functions, enabling high-performing, self-managed teams.
- Enable timely decisions on cross-ecosystem topics where alignment is needed, ensuring clarity on priorities, ownership and ways of working.
- Drive talent attraction and development, succession planning, rotations and recognition across the ecosystem.
- Ensure compliance, integrity and engagement are embedded in how business is delivered—always.
- You are a strategic, outcomes-driven leader who can translate vision into execution across multiple disease areas and countries.
- You are highly customer-centric, modern in your approach to engagement, and strong at making clear choices in complex environments.
- You build scalable systems (priorities, routines, governance) and develop leaders who deliver through empowered teams.
- You role model Roche Values and Leadership Commitments and act with high integrity.
- University degree in medical, scientific, or business field; MBA and/or advanced life science degree preferred.
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical commercial/affiliate leadership roles (or equivalent), including 3+ years of people leadership.
- Proven experience shaping and driving portfolio and customer engagement strategies across multiple brands/disease areas.
- Strong understanding of Central Asian healthcare systems, market dynamics, and stakeholder landscape.
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior external stakeholders (health authorities, payers, patient organizations, NGOs).
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
- Fluent in English and Russian.
