We are seeking a dedicated Data Project Manager to lead a dynamic team on a project centered around the utilization of natural resources using cutting-edge data processing and artificial intelligence technologies, particularly in on-premises environments and computer vision. The role involves managing, analyzing, and enhancing large volumes of data to improve processes and aid in strategic decision-making.Unlock the potential of remote work in Kazakhstan, giving you the flexibility to work from home or access our offices in Astana, Almaty or Karaganda.ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project lifecycleCollaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectivesOptimize data processing and management workflowsImplement agile and other delivery approaches to ensure effective project executionAddress data security challenges throughout the projectPresent project updates and outcomes to audiences of varying sizesManage project timelines, resources, and budgets responsiblyStay up-to-date with industry best practices and integrate relevant technological solutionsEnsure alignment of project goals with overarching business objectivesRequirements5+ years of experience in gathering customer business requirementsProficiency in managing data and analytics projects; Big Data and Data WarehousingFamiliarity with data platform engineering, including batch streaming, ingestion, storage, processing, management, integration, and consumptionStrong communication skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyHigh stress-tolerance abilityGood understanding of data engineering challengesBackground in various project delivery methodologies, including AgileUnderstanding of data-related security challengesCompetency in presenting to both large and small audiencesNice to haveBackground in computer science or a related fieldFamiliarity with *nix based environmentsUnderstanding of AI implementation concepts, especially Computer VisionKnowledge of SDLC approaches and best practicesInsight into data mining, predictive analytics, and machine learningWe offer/BenefitsWe connect like-minded people:
