Teaching 4 courses per one semester in the field of expertise;
Keeping current in research and pedagogy in the field of expertise;
Engage in course and program development when necessary;
Select textbooks and other teaching materials for the classes taught;
Select library materials in the field of their expertise and teaching;
Prepare syllabi, lectures and other teaching materials for their courses;
Provide timely input to students with regards to progress in their courses;
Maintain regular office hours.
Service activities involve:
Attend department meetings regularly;
Serve on various committees at the School and University level;
Maintain an active role in the academic community on the School and University level;
Assist and participate in the Organization of academic conferences;
Advise students on course offerings and general academic matters.
QualificationsWe are seeking a candidate with a PhD or MSc degree in Computer Science. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the core courses in Computer Science.Additional InformationWhat we offer:
