About the Role:We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance Transformation team in Kazakhstan. The role focuses on assisting the Team Leader in strengthening day‑to‑day accounting activities and supporting ongoing improvements in processes, accuracy, and operational discipline.This is a capacity‑building role intended to support the existing Finance team as we enhance our workflows and alignment across different systems.Key Responsibilities:

Lead a full review of AP workflows, invoice processing, approvals, and document flow
Ensure accurate expense recognition and timely cut-offs
Own accrual processes: creation, monitoring, maintenance, reversals
Perform detailed system reconciliations (1C/SAP/local tools)
Ensure vendor reconciliations and clean AP balances
Oversee correct fixed assets classification and accounting
Assist in improving documentation, build SOPs, and define clear ownership within the team

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, GL, or similar roles
Strong understanding of BS, accruals, FA, and expense recognition
Experience in system reconciliations and month-end processes
Ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes
High sense of discipline, accuracy, and structure
Fluency in Russian; English preferred
