KPMG is looking for an experienced and driven Tax Compliance Manager to join our dynamic Tax team. In this role, you will take the lead in delivering high-quality tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. You'll have the opportunity to manage complex projects, mentor junior professionals, and directly contribute to the strategic development of our practice.If you're ready to bring your expertise in tax legislation, client service, and team leadership to a global professional services firm — we’d love to hear from you.As our Manager, you will:Lead and manage tax compliance projects for local and international clientsReview tax returns and related reports prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy and complianceAct as the primary point of contact for clients on tax compliance matters and coordinate with tax authoritiesOversee the preparation of tax calculations, payroll, and related documentationEnsure accurate accounting entries and proper tax treatment of transactionsMentor and develop junior staff membersContribute to business development activities and internal initiativesYou're the perfect match for this role, if you have:A higher education degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or EconomicsAt least 5 years of experience in tax accounting and complianceStrong knowledge of Kazakhstan tax legislation, especially corporate income taxProficiency in 1C and hands-on experience in preparing tax reportsSolid project management skills and the ability to work directly with clientsFluency in Russian; English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higherExperience in an international company or a Big Four firm (preferred)Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or DipIFR (considered an advantage)KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services.
