We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Event Manager to join our Marketing team and help us elevate our presence in the Atlassian ecosystem by organizing and managing outstanding events.Responsibilities:Event planning and strategy:
- Develop and maintain the annual and quarterly event calendar (Atlassian Team, ACE, Solution Partner events, regional conferences).
- Define event goals, KPIs, and target audiences for each activity.
- Prepare concepts and formats for Softgile’s participation in industry events.
- Full-cycle event management: concept → scenario → preparation → execution → post-analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality representation
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content, communication, and promotion.
- Work closely with the sales team on lead generation mechanics during events.
- Manage communication with partners, Atlassian representatives, and event organizers.
- Launch and coordinate promotional campaigns
- Prepare briefs for design and oversee production of visual materials.
- Create and manage registration forms, lead collection processes, and post-event lead transfers to CRM.
- Track and analyze key metrics: CPL, ROMI, CPA, event efficiency.
- Prepare detailed post-event reports with recommendations.
- Develop and maintain internal SOPs, templates, and processes for event preparation and evaluation.
- Optimize workflows to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Plan and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with the finance department regarding invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure all activities stay within approved budgets.
- 2+ years of experience in event management (preferably IT/B2B sector).
- Understanding of Atlassian products, events, or software/IT industry is an advantage.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Strong communication and vendor management skills.
