To oversee the planning team, ensuring efficient and high-quality planning services for ground handling operations. Responsible for resource allocation, work schedule approval, and compliance with company policies and international regulations. Supervises the execution of plans and ensures alignment with operational needs.Roles and Responsibilities:Team Management and Supervision:
- Lead the planning team (specialists) in preparing and finalizing periodic work plans and schedules.
- Review and approve team-prepared schedules, ensuring they align with operational demands.
- Coordinate with the Ground Handling Director to address scheduling and resource challenges.
- Monitor adherence to approved schedules and resolve deviations promptly.
- Oversee real-time adjustments to schedules based on operational changes, such as flight delays or unexpected staff shortages.
- Prepare detailed reports on resource utilization, schedule compliance, and key performance indicators for the department director.
- Analyze trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure schedules comply with labor laws and aviation standards.
- Liaise with HR and operational teams to address leave management, training schedules, and regulatory updates.
- Provide coaching and training opportunities for planning specialists.
- Promote adherence to the company’s ethical standards and operational excellence principles.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar supervisory or planning role in ground handling or related industries.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Kazakh, Russian and English is required on Advanced level
- Proficiency in resource planning software and advanced MS Office skills (MS Excel - advanced level is a must)
- Work schedule of 5/2 from 8 AM to 5 PM
- Employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Annual paid leave of 24 calendar days, increasing to 28 days depending on work experience
