Position requires relocation to Shchuchinsk (Akmola oblast, Kazakhstan). Housing is provided for relocating candidates.Rixos Borovoe Hotel is a luxury Resort property of Accor family and is surrounded by the pine trees of the Borovoe National Park and located on Shchuchye Lake (Shchuchinsk, Kazakhstan).Job summary/Main responsibilities include, and is not limited by
  • Manage the full sales cycle for meetings, conferences, and events, from inquiry to post-event feedback
Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, and key accountsPrepare commercial proposals, contracts, and event orders in line with brand and service standardsCoordinate with operations, F&B, and banquet teams to ensure flawless event executionAchieve revenue and conversion targets through proactive sales activities and upsellingConduct site inspections, presentations, and client negotiationsMonitor market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunitiesMaintain accurate data and reports in OPERA systemCandidate profileExperience and Education:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, event management, or MICE, preferably within 4–5★ hotels
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations, event organization processes, and premium segment sales techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree (in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or Business Management preferred)
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proven experience working with corporate clients, agencies, and MICE operators
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee events from inquiry to execution
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Opera/Fidelio is an advantage
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsible
  • Strong team player with a customer-focused approach
  • Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity
  • Achieves personal and team related revenue goals
  • Verifies business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery
  • Responsible for driving customer/guest loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer/guest experience
  • Provides service to customers in order to grow the account on behalf of the company

  • Flexible and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
An Advantage Would Be:
  • Established client base in the MICE or corporate segment
  • Experience in tender participation and preparation of commercial proposals for key accounts
  • Understanding of current trends in luxury hospitality and event management
