Company DescriptionJob DescriptionManager shall be responsible for: * participation in the preparation and holding of special events held by Division or other competent structural divisions of the University, as well as its subsidiaries;
  • support of assigned areas of Division’s activities;
  • division’s budget request formation for the relevant financial year;
  • planning of upcoming special events held by Division or other competent structural divisions of the University, as well as its subsidiaries;
  • safety of material assets entrusted to him/her in interaction with Security Service;
  • analysis and monitoring of procurement contracts performance by suppliers;
  • participation in drafting of information materials for the media, reporting and analytical information;
  • collaboration with partners and participants of special activities, their accommodation and transportation organization;
  • advisory assistance and business correspondence within Division’s competence;
  • timely and quality execution of other tasks assigned by the Head of Division and the University management within his/her job duties and authorities.
QualificationsUniversity degree preferably from universities with English language of instruction (Master’s, Bachelor’s, Diploma holder).Priority majors:- Event Management;- Public Relations and Advertising;- International Hospitality Business;- PR/Marketing;- Management.Required professional experience:- at least 1 year of relevant professional experience, if a candidate holds a Master’s degree; or- at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in civil service, international and/or national companies or at least 2 years of experience in the University, if a candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma.Professional skills:- сontract drafting skills;- knowledge of the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on status of the Nazarbayev University, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Nazarbayev Fund, On Education and any other laws and regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan governing relations related to the position;- presentation creating and making skills;- analytical skills;- document management skills;- fluent Kazakh, Russian, English languages (knowledge of other languages is an advantage);- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint.Additional InformationRecruitment and selection process
