Responsibilities:Develop and implement the company’s Public Relations and Communication Plan.Shape and maintain a positive corporate image through strategic PR initiatives and media relations.Oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and PR activities.Manage crisis communication, monitor public sentiment, and coordinate responses across departments.Ensure continuous improvement and the use of modern communication technologies.Provide timely information and media support for the company’s leadership and new initiatives.Build and maintain effective relationships with media, public organizations, and opinion leaders.Organize press conferences, briefings, and PR campaigns to enhance brand reputation and passenger loyalty.Prepare internal spokespersons for public speaking and coordinate with external experts.Supervise the Public Relations Department, manage the team’s performance, development, and budget.Represent the company in public, media, and corporate interactions, ensuring alignment with corporate values.Requirements:Higher professional education in journalism, public relations, communications and media, marketing, or management.At least 5 years of total work experience, including:5 years in public relations and/or marketing/advertising and/or press office/media,3 years in a managerial position.Competencies and Skills:Knowledge of public relations, SMM, sociology, psychology, marketing, and management fundamentals.Understanding of methods for analyzing, planning, and forecasting information processes and mass communication.Knowledge of organizing and preparing press releases, media briefings, press conferences, forums, and PR campaigns.Strong negotiation skills.Knowledge of digital marketing.Experience in online reputation management and digital brand promotion.Ability to use internal and external communication channels effectively.Knowledge of methods for evaluating PR effectiveness and motivating performance in communications.Understanding of crisis communications and media market trends.Fluency in Kazakh and Russian, preferably English at Upper Intermediate level.QAZAQ AIR was established on April 1, 2015 and operated its first commercial flight on August 27, 2015.The airline is an official member of IATA and has been successfully certified under the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program since 2018.On May 6, 2025, in the presence of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of Vietnam, the privatization of QAZAQ AIR was completed.The shareholders of QAZAQ AIR are:
  • Samruk-Kazyna JSC – 49%
  • Central Asia Aviation Holdings Limited (part of the Vietnamese Sovico Group) – 49%
  • Kazasia Holdings Limited – 2%
On the same day, during the Kazakhstan–Vietnam Business Forum in Astana, QAZAQ AIR and Vietjet announced a strategic partnership and the launch of the new brand — Vietjet Qazaqstan.
