- Lead M&A Advisory Projects: Supervise outputs, provide guidance to executives and associates, and take full responsibility for the project's success.
- Develop Financial Models: Prepare complex financial models, including company valuations (DCF analysis, trading, and transaction comparables).
- Create Presentation Materials: Prepare high-quality presentation materials, such as deal-related presentations (teasers, information memoranda, management presentations) and pitch books.
- Manage Transaction Processes: Oversee key processes in ongoing transactions, including coordinating due diligence and the activities of target management and other advisors (accounting, legal, tax, etc.).
- Conduct Industry Research: Perform industry and company research to build a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in an M&A advisory role with a leading investment bank, M&A boutique, Big Four company, or M&A department of large companies
- Hold a higher education degree in Finance, Business, or Mathematics with superior academic performance
- Have been involved in several buy-side or sell-side M&A transactions in all stages
- Demonstrate highly developed analytical, quantitative, and valuation skills, and a solid foundation in accounting
- Possess strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pay strong attention to detail
- Are professionally fluent in English and Russian / Kazakh
- Hold international finance certificates (CFA, CAIA, ACCA), which are a strong plus
