- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction
- Lead and inspire a team of department heads and staff to deliver outstanding service
- Ensure compliance with ibis brand standards and local regulations
- Manage the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Implement marketing and sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
- Oversee all operational aspects, including rooms, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the property
- Resolve guest complaints and address any operational issues promptly and effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or hospitality management certification preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hotel management, with previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
- Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and driving financial performance
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software, revenue management, and financial management principles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- In-depth understanding of the hospitality industry and current market trends
- Familiarity with ibis brand standards and procedures
- Knowledge of the local market in Astana, Kazakhstan
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Kazakh and/or Russian is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
