About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer – Project to join our Engineering team for the construction of a modern sugar factory. This role will be responsible for reviewing designs, supervising electrical installation, supporting testing and commissioning, and ensuring all works meet safety, quality, and project standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReview electrical drawings, load schedules, and equipment specifications.Supervise installation of substations, MCCs, cabling, lighting, and automation systems.Monitor contractor performance and compliance with safety regulations.Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems.Coordinate with mechanical and process engineers for system integration.Maintain accurate site reports and progress updates.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience: 5+ years in electrical works for industrial construction projects.Preferred: Experience in sugar/refinery/food process plants or heavy industrial facilities; hands-on commissioning experience.Certifications (advantageous): AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PLC Programming.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HT/LT power distribution.Familiarity with motors, drives, MCCs, PLCs, and control systems.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical calculation tools.Knowledge of IEC standards.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Safety-focused, with proven site supervision experience.What We OfferOpportunity to work on a large-scale industrial project.Professional growth and learning in a dynamic team.A safe and collaborative working environment.*Interested candidates are invited to apply with an updated CV in English.The Kazakhstan Sugar Project involves setting up a large-scale sugar processing factory, namely the Qazaq Arab Sugar, in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan.The sugar factory is expected to produce white sugar as the primary product, with pulp and molasses as secondary ones.This new sugar factory will aim to cater to the domestic sugar demand of 600k MT, thus enabling the substitution of imports and reducing Kazakhstan’s import bill. In-addition the Project provides the opportunity of exporting surplus production to neighboring CIS countries and other Asian regions.
