- Coaching & Feedback. Conduct structured coaching sessions and performance reviews to develop sales producers and ensure accountability.
- Performance Management. Analyze CRM and sales data to monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
- Onboarding & Training. Personally lead onboarding programs for new producers, providing clear milestones and support from day one until full productivity.
- Daily Leadership. Mentor the team in real time during quoting, negotiations, and follow-ups. Support client interactions and resolve escalations when needed.
- Forecasting & Reporting. Create accurate monthly and quarterly sales reports, providing leadership with insights and actionable recommendations.
- Market & Competitor Awareness. Stay informed on competitor strategies, regulatory updates, and market shifts to guide the team’s sales direction.
- Client Retention & Partnerships. Lead retention efforts to strengthen client loyalty and renewals. Build strong working relationships with underwriters and carriers to ensure smooth approvals and broaden offerings.
- Cross-Department Collaboration. Partner with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Culture & Team Development. Foster a performance-driven, collaborative culture through structured mentorship and team-building initiatives.
- 7+ years of proven leadership experience in sales
- Documented track record of building and leading successful sales teams
- Advanced CRM proficiency with a strong ability to use data in decision-making
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence
- Industry Expertise: Although not required, knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Sales Leadership: Proven success leading teams to consistently exceed quotas and growth targets.
- Coaching Mindset: Skilled at creating tailored development plans to elevate team performance.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills to translate performance data into effective strategies.
- Adaptability: Ability to excel in fast-paced, evolving environments.
