We ensure the accuracy of forecasting, Tax provision, quarterly, annual close, and settlement. You will be involved in fast-moving projects that deliver a value to our customers.As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for:Preparing various tax reports to ensure forecasting, tax provision, compliance and settlementCompleting the periodic filing and payment of taxes (VAT, With Holding etc.) in Kazakhstan to ensure complianceAssisting with implementing improvements and enhancements that provide value to internal methods, procedures and processesCommunicating with colleagues to provide insight for data gathering and analysis to cross-functional teams and our businessCollaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support for Tax cycles, functions and quarterly reporting to ensure complianceWorking on ad-hoc special projects to deliver results to our business in a fast moving global-environmentGathering financial information from business units to assist with Tax and audit queriesFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Bachelor's degree in related file with professional expertise in TaxDemonstrate solid experience with taxes in Kazakhstan, tax processes and computation gained preferably in oil and gas sphereHave good IT knowledge and be comfortable using software including, Excel, Oracle and SAP systemsBe a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions in an ever-changing organizationShow excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and be able speak intermediate EnglishFluent RussianHave experience of preparing and delivering information for tax audit purposesKnowledge of tax regulation in Kazakhstan is a mustWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
