Responsibilities:Strategic and business planningInvestment planningBudgeting (annual budget, capital expenditures, and financial flows)Preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by the airline’s business areasAnalysis of external and internal factors affecting the airline’s financial performanceRegular calculation of route economicsSupport of the aircraft insurance coverage processDevelopment of financial models to assess the profitability of routes, projects, investments, leasing deals, and othersIssuance and placement of the Company’s sharesOrganization of the asset valuation process on the balance sheetParticipation in raising financial instruments for project implementationCash flow analysis and preparation of liquidity forecastsAnalysis of operational indicators (ASK, RPK, CASK, RASK, Load Factor, Yield) by route, fleet, and season. Requirements:Higher education in finance or economics. Preferable qualifications include: ACCA student, CFA student, CIPA student, CIMA student, or MBA degree.
Total professional experience — at least 5 years, including a minimum of 3 years in economics and finance, financial audit, or FP&A (experience in Big Four companies is an advantage).Knowledge of preparation of all types of financial statements;Knowledge in economic, business, and strategic planning;Knowledge in accounting and auditing;Knowledge of IFRS;Proficiency in financial analysis and management reporting;Skills in budgeting and investment planning;Business administration skills;Ability to work with large volumes of data;Experience with accounting systems such as 1C, SAP, Colvir, Navision;Experience with ERP systems;Experience working with databases;Advanced MS Office user (proficient in Excel macros).Fluent in Kazakh and Russian; English proficiency at a level of Upper-Intermediate or higher.QAZAQ AIR was established on April 1, 2015 and operated its first commercial flight on August 27, 2015.The airline is an official member of IATA and has been successfully certified under the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program since 2018.On May 6, 2025, in the presence of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Mr. To Lam, General Secretary of Vietnam, the privatization of QAZAQ AIR was completed.The shareholders of QAZAQ AIR are:
  • Samruk-Kazyna JSC – 49%
  • Central Asia Aviation Holdings Limited (part of the Vietnamese Sovico Group) – 49%
  • Kazasia Holdings Limited – 2%
On the same day, during the Kazakhstan–Vietnam Business Forum in Astana, QAZAQ AIR and Vietjet announced a strategic partnership and the launch of the new brand — Vietjet Qazaqstan.
