- Partner with department leaders to understand business goals and provide tailored HR support and solutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the airport’s operational and strategic objectives.
- Advise and coach managers on workforce planning, team structure, performance management, and employee relations & engagement.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Support and facilitate performance appraisal processes and follow-up development plans.
- Participate in recruitment planning and onboarding processes for assigned departments.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training or development initiatives in collaboration with the L&D team.
- Support succession planning and career development discussions within departments.
- Take part in the implementation of airport-wide HR programs, such as employee engagement, DEI, talent retention, and recognition programs.
- Collaborate with other HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, L&D, HR Administration) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Promote and support the corporate culture through participation in events, internal campaigns, and communication efforts.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, performance ratings, etc.) to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for business units and HR leadership.
- Ensure accurate HR documentation and recordkeeping in coordination with HR Administration.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a business partnering role.
- Previous experience in aviation, transport, oil and gas, mining or infrastructure industries is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and Kazakhstan Labor Code.
- Excellent command of Kazakh, Russian and English (Upper-Intermediate and higher).
- Proven ability to influence, advise, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Office location - Almaty International Airport, Mailin St. 42
- Work schedule 5 days per week, working hours from 8.00 to 17.00 (lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00)
