- Provide legal support to commercial business functions, including drafting, reviewing, and aligning agreements with commercial objectives.
- Ensure company interests are protected during contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote legal awareness across business teams, especially in contract and corporate governance matters.
- Draft and standardize legal documents: agreements, addenda, amendments, MoUs, LoIs, notices, letters, replies, and legal opinions.
- Act as Company Secretary: ensure proper conduct of general meetings, corporate reporting, and legal disclosures.
- Represent the company during audits and inspections, defending its position before government authorities.
- Identify and mitigate risks in contract-based relationships; propose timely legal solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to initiate or defend legal cases related to contractual matters.
- Monitor legislative changes and recommend updates to contract management practices to ensure compliance.
- Advise on company policies and procedures; ensure smooth handling of all contract-related matters.
- Maintain regulatory documentation related to licenses and permits.
- Provide legal input on law-shaping initiatives relevant to the company.
- Support development and revision of internal policies, procedures, and SOPs to enhance transparency and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; provide legal guidance on contractual matters.
- Manage observations from domestic and international audits; develop action plans to improve compliance in contract management and corporate governance.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)
- Advanced level of English
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in corporate law firms and/or as in-house counsel
- Strong legal drafting and research skills
- Solid understanding of legal provisions and litigation processes
- Experience in contract management, corporate governance, and compliance
