Junior Business/System Analyst

• Identifying and analyzing user requirements for the API.
• Analyzing the functionality of existing APIs.
• Designing REST API in OpenAPI specification format.
• Forming a backlog of tasks for the development of REST API.
• Documenting user and functional requirements for the REST API in the format of user stories highlighting and detailed description of acceptance criteria.
• Modeling domain area (entity-relationship diagrams), business processes and algorithms (UML activity diagrams), functionality (UML use case diagrams), service interactions (UML sequence diagrams).
• Compiling user documentation for API consumers and publishing it on the developer portal.
• Conducting REST API acceptance testing and maintain collections of API requests.
• Demonstrating the work of the REST API.
• Managing API access and organizing onboarding of new API consumers.
• Identifying gaps in the functionality of the portal for developers, the formation of a backlog of tasks for the completion of the portal, their description and acceptance testing.

• Commercial experience as a Business/System Analyst for 6+ months.
• Understanding of the role of an API provider (ideally - API for integration with systems of other organizations).
• Knowledge of various types of API authentication (especially OAuth).
• Familiarity with the basic concepts of OIDC.
• Basic understanding of API authorization concepts.
• Fundamental understanding of REST API principles and design.
• Possession of Postman (ability to learn and test API).
• Basic experience in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria (breaking into stories, highlighting acceptance criteria).
• Ability to create and understand basic sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and ERDs.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.
