About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Manager – Project to lead all electrical engineering, installation, and commissioning activities for the construction of a new sugar factory. The role carries full responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of the electrical scope of work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and approve electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.Plan and supervise installation of substations, MCCs, VFDs, cabling, and lighting systems.Lead testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring reliability and compliance.Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery.Coordinate closely with mechanical, instrumentation, and process teams for system integration.Enforce electrical safety standards across the project site.Prepare reports, documentation, and regular updates to senior management.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience: Minimum 10+ years in industrial construction projects.Preferred Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional).Industry Exposure: Experience in large-scale process plants, energy-intensive facilities, or industrial projects is an advantage.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management abilities.Proven experience in project planning, execution, and commissioning.Expertise in HT/LT distribution, MCCs, drives, and automation systems.Knowledge of IEC standards and power system studies.Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Safety-driven mindset with risk management awareness.What We OfferA senior leadership role in a large-scale industrial project.Opportunity to implement best practices and energy-efficient solutions.Professional growth in an international, collaborative environment.

The Kazakhstan Sugar Project involves setting up a large-scale sugar processing factory, namely the Qazaq Arab Sugar, in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan.The sugar factory is expected to produce white sugar as the primary product, with pulp and molasses as secondary ones.This new sugar factory will aim to cater to the domestic sugar demand of 600k MT, thus enabling the substitution of imports and reducing Kazakhstan’s import bill. In-addition the Project provides the opportunity of exporting surplus production to neighboring CIS countries and other Asian regions.
