Business Development Manager - Energy (National Staff)

• Create long term value for ILF from clients, markets and relationships
• Recognize and create business development opportunities
• Identify and keep up-to-date view of the current market situation and changes
• Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announce-ments.
• Improve ILF's visibility in the region by participating and representing ILF at exhibitions and confer-ences
• Identify and approach potential clients, build long-term relationships with potential and existing clients
• Arrange meetings with client executives and key decision makers together with management and follow-up established contacts
• Identify or propose potential business deals by contacting potential strategic partners
• Manage and coordinate marketing initiatives and activities in assigned business areas
• Close new acquisitions by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Calculating prime costs based on cost accounting rates, verification through schedule of fees and/or comparison with reference projects, estimation of market price or alternative calculation methods.
• Prepare and review quality proposals
• Drawing up of draft contract, if no such draft is provided by the client (see PG2201) in coordination with the responsible senior management and/or legal adviser.
• Reviewing the contract draft, depending on the project scope and risk, with the support of the depart-ment manager or legal adviser (see PG2201)
• Support the Managing Director in business related discussions
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
