BMC Helix Consultant Developer - Remote

• Develop, configure, and customize BMC Helix applications to fulfill client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business processes and translate them into effective Helix configurations.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution to ensure optimal functioning of BMC Helix applications.
• Integrate BMC Helix with third-party solutions and services, using REST APIs and other integration methods.
• Conduct testing, code reviews, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for BMC Helix applications to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
• Stay informed about the latest features and enhancements within the BMC Helix ecosystem.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Developer, specifically working with BMC Helix products.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and frameworks, including Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
• Experience in configuring and customizing BMC Helix applications, including but not limited to Helix ITSM and Helix Digital Workplace.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to BMC Helix development (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
• Understanding of web services and integration techniques (e.g., REST, SOAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
• BMC certifications relevant to Helix ITSM or related modules are a plus.

• Familiarity with database technologies and SQL scripting.
• Experience in implementing or managing cloud-based solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
