Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with local and international accounting standards
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and submit timely tax declarations
  • Coordinate with auditors and prepare supporting documentation for audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Liaise with external partners, vendors, and financial institutions as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of Kazakhstan’s financial regulations and tax laws
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., 1C, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid analytical capabilities
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Conditions
  • Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
  • Experience working in multinational or international environments
  • CPA, ACCA, or similar certification is a plus
