Mission:The Infrastructure Engineer - provides high quality on-site support and project implementation services to clients of Schlumberger and internal stakeholders, resolving infrastructure issues. Responsible for the integration and optimization of infrastructure to enable Schlumberger software products, services and solutions to our customer. This person provides specialist services as required in high performance computing, visualization, network or Cloud infrastructure.Responsibilities:· Identify appropriate solution technology for customer integration (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)· Analyze requirements and perform system solutioning, planning, installation and setup of system architecture· Deploys hardware infrastructures (e.g., servers and storage devices), operating systems, databases and SIS software· Investigates, analyses, resolves and prepares reports on moderate to complex client tickets via telephone, email or on-site visits· Assist in evaluating technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders as related to the area of expertise· Customization requirements gathering and testing prior to operationalization· Integrates and tunes Schlumberger applications to optimally perform within client and/or internal Schlumberger environment· Remain current on new technologies and deployment strategies adopted by SLB· Client facing and responsible to provide assessment, onboarding, technical support and maintenance of Schlumberger DELFI cognitive E&P cloud solution hosted on Public Cloud Service Providers and their localized offerings· Ensure QHSE commitment and compliance to Cloud engagements· Collate and produce systems documentation relating to solution deploymentTechnical Skills & Experience:· Experienced in designing and administering physical and virtual environment· Solid architecture background in server, VDI and cloud technologies· Google and Azure cloud architectures (GCP and Azure Certifications preferred)· Experienced in onsite user support· Strong break/fix troubleshooting skills· Experienced in Linux and open-source technologies· Experienced in HPC cluster, network and storage solutions· Experienced in SIS application, Schlumberger Licensing· Proficiency in infrastructure security, networking, switching, LAN/WAN management, including firewall and load balancing· Understanding enterprise reliability systems, backup and disaster recovery, high availability and capacity planning· Advanced skills in enterprise storage management, NAS/SAN technologies, database - SQL Server, Oracle deployment· Software packaging (VM image building) and automated deployment experienceSkills & Abilities:· Team Player with effective communication skills to interact effectively at all levels· Creative, enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a fluid and fast-paced environment· Ability to drive projects forward from a technical standpoint, challenging existing processes and procedures where necessarySLB — технологическая компания, помогающая своим клиентам получить доступ к энергетическим ресурсам.
