- Ensuring inventory and control of IT&T department's equipment;
- Responsibity for storage, inventory and disposal of IT &T Department waste;
- Maintain stock levels and carry out inventory of IT equipment and consumables in IT&T temporary store-rooms. To inform IT Asset Management Section Head when it is necessary to reorder equipment from suppliers to avoid out-of-stock situations;
- Request equipment and materials from KPO warehouse for replenishment of IT&T temporary store-rooms in accordance with existing procedures. To register received from the warehouse equipment in Configuration Management Database. To perform return of used and faulty equipment to warehouse for further handover to the Authority or for disposal. To prepare appropriate supporting documentation;
- Organize warranty repair process: to prepare faulty equipment and deliver it to a supplier, track repair process and notify relevant parties on its status;
- Work with users' requests for hardware, software and consumables provision; to request clarifications where necessary and obtain all necessary approvals within IT&T in accordance with existing procedures;
- Prepare equipment for Support Specialists to deploy to users. To organize delivery of equipment and material to KPO remote offices and withdrawal from those offices to Aksai: to arrange transport, prepare all supporting paperwork;
- Participate in waste management process: to organize proper storage of waste, to timely raise requests for disposal, to arrange and coordinate activities on collection of waste at the point of its temporary storage and delivery to KPO Eco Centre, to provide necessary reporting;
- Provide standard and specific reports to IT Services Manager, Section Heads and Supervisors upon request. To keep updated registers for all ongoing processes within competence of the job;
- Update Configuration Management Database in absence of IT Asset Management Specialists;
- Perform other instructions of management / line manager / direct superior within its competence.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures is desirable;
- Warehouse or procurement experience beneficial but not essential;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications;
- Knowledge of project management concept;
- Understanding of IT Software licensing;
- Customer-focus;
- Good analytical and decision-making skills;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and report writing skills;
- Strong initiative and ability to work without close supervision, intention to learn.
