Обязанности:
  • The Business Development Manager is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth within the construction sector. This role involves building and nurturing strong, long-lasting client relationships with owners, developers, architects, and engineers to expand the company's market presence. The ideal candidate is an experienced, proactive self-starter with a deep understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Требования:
  • Generate New Business: Identify, qualify, and pursue new project leads and business opportunities across target market sectors, such as commercial, residential, or industrial construction.
  • Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, including owners, property managers, architects, and real estate professionals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, potential new markets, emerging opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives and sales targets.
  • Proposals and Bids: Collaborate with the estimating and project teams to prepare, coordinate, and deliver winning proposals, RFPs, and presentations.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Participate in contract negotiations and assist with the seamless hand-off of projects to the operations and project management teams.
  • Represent the Company: Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Manage CRM: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline in the company's CRM system.
  • Internal Collaboration: Communicate real-time market feedback to internal stakeholders to help refine company services and strategic planning.
Условия:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, with a minimum of 3 years specifically within the construction, real estate, or related industries.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Industry Network: An established network of contacts within the local and regional construction market is highly desirable.
  • Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales approach with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage client pipelines and track sales activity.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel locally and regionally to attend meetings, events, and conferences.
A general contractor oversees and manages construction projects from start to finish. Their activities include coordinating labor, hiring and supervising subcontractors, securing materials, and ensuring that work meets building codes and safety regulations. They also handle project scheduling, budgeting, and communication between clients, architects, and workers. Essentially, the general contractor ensures that the entire construction process runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
