We are seeking a dynamic and influential Manager to spearhead our Central Maintenance Strategy and lead our critical Turnaround (TAR) events. You will serve as the central hub connecting our site teams with cluster-level expertise, ensuring the long-term health, safety, and performance of our most important assets. This pivotal role blends hands-on TAR execution with the strategic development of our maintenance framework, directly contributing to our overall business success by maximizing availability and driving profitability.Your Key ResponsibilitiesTurnaround (TAR) Excellence: You will masterfully orchestrate our TAR events from concept to completion. This involves leading the definition of the mechanical and technical scope, ensuring the creation of highly detailed work packages, and developing robust project plans. During TARs, you will be the on-the-ground leader, monitoring progress and quality, leading daily coordination meetings with operations, engineering, and external contractors, and making decisive calls to resolve challenges swiftly. You will ensure a seamless wrap-up, including financial closure and capturing lessons learned to fuel continuous improvement, while managing and mentoring our TAR Planner.Strategic Maintenance Leadership: You will be the architect of our future-state maintenance operations, developing and implementing a forward-thinking, long-term strategy. You will embed best practices in preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance, utilizing digital tools to their full potential. A key part of your role will be to foster a vibrant community of practice among our Kazakh maintenance teams, harmonizing KPIs and dashboards to drive performance. Your strategic oversight will guide priority-setting for spare parts management and provide critical input and justification for our maintenance budgets.Driving Asset Reliability: You will champion a world-class reliability culture throughout the organization, shifting the focus from reactive repairs to proactive prevention. You will lead initiatives to enhance asset performance, employing rigorous Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to investigate technical events and drive data-backed improvement plans. You will manage key reliability programs like our Vulnerability Studies, track progress on our enterprise Reliability Roadmap, and ensure robust reporting to all stakeholders. In this mission, you will directly manage and develop the expertise of our Reliability Engineer to systematically reduce unplanned downtime.Are you a MATCH?What You'll Bring to the TeamA Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance, reliability, or a related engineering function.Demonstrated experience in transversal management, with a talent for leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across multiple sites.A strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture while managing critical details, backed by hands-on experience in TAR management, CMMS systems (like MAXIMO), and reliability methodologies (RCA).Fluency in Kazakh and/or Russian is essential.
