As Business Development Manager, you will design and deploy strategic growth programs to accelerate the development of the salon channel, focusing on flagship salon development, conquest, loyalty and lifetime value.You are a strategic enabler, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Education and distributors to elevate the business model of salons and unlock sustainable, qualitative growth beyond pure sales execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSalon Channel Growth Strategy
  • Define and implement salon channel growth strategies aligned with PPD ambitions
  • Identify structural growth levers to increase performance, premiumisation and lifetime value
  • Translate strategy into scalable frameworks and tools for markets and distributors
Flagship Salon Development
  • Design and deploy flagship / top salon development programs, covering business partnership model, brand ecosystem & service portfolio, education journeys, retailisation and client experience
  • Ensure consistency and excellence of flagship execution across markets and distributors
  • Partner closely with distributor and sales teams for local deployment
Distribution Expansion
  • Build structured conquest strategies to recruit high-potential salons
  • Define salon targeting criteria, value propositions and onboarding journeys
  • Equip sales and distributor teams with tools, playbooks and training to win new doors qualitatively
Loyalty, Retention & Lifetime Value
  • Develop and enhance loyalty programs for salons, focusing on retention, engagement and share of business
  • Drive initiatives aimed at increasing salon lifetime value through portfolio development, education & services, business support and digital tools
  • Monitor program effectiveness and continuously optimize based on performance insights
Profile & SkillsProfessional Background
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategy, commercial excellence or consulting-like roles
  • Strong understanding of B2B ecosystems, ideally within professional beauty, FMCG or services
  • Experience working in matrix organizations and indirect/distributor models
